Dusting: - baseboards, window sills, blinds, picture frames, lamps above the mirrors.

Cleaning: - sinks faucets, behind sinks top to bottom, wall next to the toilet, counters (everything is picked up, dusted and put back nicely), mirrors, showers, bath tubs, toilets, floors.

Folding towels. Empting wastebaskets.

Kitchen & dining area

Cleaning: - sinks and faucets, cook top, front of all appliances (oven, fridge, dishwasher), cabinets, table and chairs, microwave inside and outside, counters (everything is picked up, cleaned and put back nicely), backsplash, floors (vacuum/sweep and mop)

Dusting: - fans, top of the fridge, range hood

Empting wastebaskets.

Sleeping & Living area

Dusting: - baseboards, window sills, blinds, fans, all furniture, knickknack, lamps, picture, frames, TV etc.

Clean all doors and door frames (spots, dust).

Cleaning all mirrors, spots from pets or children on the windows.

Vacuuming all carpets (in a closets also), cleaning all floors.

Vacuum/wipe stairs. Dust railings. Vacuum upholstered furniture.

Deep Cleaning

Deep cleaning generally perform during the first initial cleaning or one-time cleaning. It is usually include some additional things to the regular cleaning. There are some of them:

  • Detailed cleaning of knickknack areas;
  • Heavy-duty scrubbing of bathrooms and kitchen, including fronts of the cabinets;

    We would be happy to provide a spring-cleaning for your home at any time of the year. There is what you can expect to have done:

    Frequently Asked House Cleaning Questions

    - How Much Does a House Cleaning Service Cost?

    Every house is unique, and every house-cleaning fee is individually based. Our prices are based on the size of your house and how often you’d like to get it cleaned. We have a standardized formula for calculating each individual cleaning estimate.

    - Will All House Cleaning Visits Cost the Same Amount?

    The first (initial) house cleaning visit usually costs more than regular visits. Generally, it takes additional time to do the first cleaning, especially if the house hasn’t been professionally cleaned before. Regular house cleaning visits are charged as a flat fee. You will receive an estimate for both the initial cleaning and the regular house cleaning visits up front.

    - Do I Have To Be Home At the Time of Cleaning?

    Most customers are either at work or busy with other plans when we clean, so it's quite common for them to provide us with their garage code or spare key. But if you don't feel comfortable leaving us a key or door code, please make sure someone is home during the scheduled cleaning time.

    - Do You Guarantee a Day and Time for My House Cleaning Appointment?

    DNK ordinarily guarantees a specific day and time for your house cleaning. If you choose to have a schedule that requires an additional confirmation – we will call you a week before your due day to confirm.

    - What If I Need to Reschedule a House Cleaning?

    If something comes up that causes a conflict with your cleaning schedule, just call our office. We appreciate a 48 hour notice, but understand that some situations are just unavoidable. When shorter notice is given, however, we may charge a cancelation fee. We do not overbook our schedule. So, if you need to reschedule a cleaning without proper notice, we will not have enough opportunity to fill the schedule with another client. This decreases the maids’ pay. Without consistent wages, we cannot retain the best maids to clean for you. Thus, respecting our procedure for reschedules helps ensure you will get the best house cleaning service possible.

    - What Should I Do With My Pets During the House Cleaning?

    Please advise us if you have pets and provide any information regarding your pets that would be helpful for us to know. Though not a requirement, we prefer pets to be restricted from the areas we clean, so our maids can clean your home better and more efficiently.

    - How Shall I Pay for My House Cleaning?

    You may pay by cash, check or credit card. Payment is due at time of service. If you do not intend to be at home at the time of your maid service visit you may choose to either leave cash or a check on the kitchen counter the morning of your house cleaning. A fee will be assessed for all returned checks.

    - Do I Need to Provide House Cleaning Products or Equipment?

    Who is providing cleaning supplies and tools will be discussed before the cleaning or during the estimate.

    - Do I need to prepare my house for the cleaning?

    Please don’t spend any time cleaning before we arrive! Cleaning homes is what we do, after all. Although removing some clutter would help us to clean more effectively in all the areas of your home. Don’t forget to put out clean sheets if we will be changing your linens. And please find a good spot for your pets so they are comfortable while we clean.

    - What if something is damaged during a home cleaning?

    We treat you and your home with complete respect. If something does unexpectedly break, we do our best to either repair or replace that item or reimburse you the cost of the damaged item. DNK is fully insured, so claims are filed when appropriate.

    - What if my maid service missed a spot?

    Our maid services offer consistent, quality home cleaning. Like in any relationship, however, miscommunications occur and we may make a mistake. That's why we offer a house cleaning service guarantee, which means if you notify DNK within 24 hours, our house cleaning staff will correct their mistake at no charge.
